Job summary

Westlake Royal Building Products in Florida is seeking a production associate responsible for ensuring products meet quality standards and for overseeing assigned areas. You will report any issues to the lead or supervisor promptly and help maintain smooth manufacturing flow.

Key duties include safety checks, feeding lines, moving and inspecting product, and supporting a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Able to read, comprehend and follow simple instructions.
• 1 Year general labor experience in similar setting (experience with roll formers, punch presses, brake presses preferred).
• Basic mathematical skills and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Regular attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility.
• Feed the production lines by picking up product and placing them onto a conveyor.
• Perform daily safety checks on the Machine assigned to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Notify the Line Supervisor of any safety, quality, or maintenance problems.
• Move completed product onto a rack and perform visual inspection for defect before placing onto a pallet.
• Ensure the right amount of product is going onto a pallet.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Essential Physical Requirements/Work Environment

The employee should possess the ability to:

• Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable
• Withstand exposure to temperature extremes inside or out
• Prolong standing or in stationary position
• Complete repetitive movements
• Bend and/or twist
• Lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds
• Ability to move or traverse about the facilities
• Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision, and hardhat protection)
