Job summary

Westlake Chemical is seeking a capable production worker to help ensure products are manufactured to meet quality standards. The role involves supporting the production line, performing safety checks, and reporting issues promptly to supervision.

The position emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and adherence to safety policies. Candidates should be able to read and follow simple instructions, have at least one year of general labor experience, and be comfortable working around noise, temperature

Qualifications

• Read, comprehend and follow simple instructions.
• 1 year general labor experience in a similar setting; experience with roll formers, punch presses or brake presses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Feed the production lines by picking up product and placing onto a conveyor.
• Perform daily safety checks on the machine assigned to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Notify the Line Supervisor of any safety, quality, or maintenance problems.
• Move completed product onto a rack and perform visual inspection for defects before palletizing.
• Ensure the right amount of product is going onto a pallet.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
