Sign-On Bonus: $1,000.00

Shift Availability

All shifts, including rotational and swing schedules (e.g., seven-day swing). Ability to work any shift, overtime, weekends, holidays, or different shifts as needed.

Summary

This entry-level position is within a union workforce. You will learn about the facility's general operations, perform assigned tasks, and seek process and personal performance improvements. Utilities personnel will perform various duties as assigned.

Essential Job Functions

• Work in a fast-paced environment completing processes like weighing, bagging, packing, unpacking, labeling, storing products, and sanitizing the facility.
• Collaborate with peers and management to improve operations and promote teamwork.
• Communicate about equipment operation, safety, product quality, and maintenance.
• Rotate through all positions within the department for training and coverage.
• Operate forklifts and skid steers.
• Adhere to safety, environmental, food quality standards, and aim for a zero-injury culture.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Exhibit regular and prompt attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Qualifications / Responsibilities

Requirements:

• Must be 18 or older.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in production or similar military environment preferred.

Training Requirements:

• Complete ADM safety, food safety, quality, and environmental training.
• Participate in planned operations training, including equipment training (e.g., forklift, non-DOT truck, reach lift).

Working Conditions

Work in a non-air-conditioned environment with seasonal temperature variations, noise levels up to 85 decibels requiring hearing protection, and mandatory PPE such as uniforms, hardhats, safety glasses, earplugs, and steel-toed shoes. Respirator use may be required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, ascend/descend stairs, bend, kneel, stand, sit, and squat frequently.
• Operate equipment at different heights, possibly on ladders or scaffolding.
• Lift up to 40 pounds regularly, up to 55 pounds occasionally, and 50 pounds overhead.
• Willingness to wear respirators.
• Traverse up to two miles during a workday.

Work Hours

Overtime including weekends and holidays with advance notice. Shift schedules include 8-hour rotations or swings.

Successful completion of a background check is required.

Pay and Compensation

Starting pay is approximately $22.09 per hour, subject to market, experience, and individual factors. Overtime pay applies for qualifying hours. The position is at-will, with possible modifications to pay and benefits.
