Job summary

Thomas Talent Network is seeking a Production Worker III for the Bellevue, WA dairy plant on a 90-day temp-to-perm contract. This onsite role pays up to $34/hr with Pasteurizer license and up to $30/hr without. Shifts include swing or grave; overtime possible.

Responsibilities include monitoring production, following SOPs, documenting per laws, and maintaining sanitation. Requires high school diploma and Dairy equipment experience; union onsite candidate expectations apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• With Pasteurizer License: 6–12 months operating pasteurization or dairy process equipment.
• Without Pasteurizer License: 12 months operating pasteurization or dairy process equipment.
• Ability to follow recipes, measurements and instructions accurately.
• Perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Physical stamina to stand/walk most of the shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with pallet jacks and forklift.
• Safety-focused with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Closely monitor the dairy production process and follow SOPs for batching and processing products.
• Maintain communication with other departments, management, and employees; report problems that may restrict production efficiency.
• Ensure all required information is documented per Federal, State, and Company laws/policies.
• Monitor fats, total solids, allergens, and related items in dairy processing.
• Maintain sanitation of equipment (CIP & hand cleaning); operate and clean equipment to maximize throughput and minimize downtime.
• Analyze process and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshoot.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and all required work-safe practices.
• Responsible for food safety, pre-requisite programs, and food quality; report issues to management immediately.
• Maintain 5S standards and comply with company GMP standards.

Job description

Production Worker III, Bellevue, WA. Contractor (pay-as-you-go).

Onsite. 90 days temp-to-perm; if hired, candidate must join the onsite union.

Pay Rate: up to $30.00/hr without a Pasteurizer's License; up to $34.00/hr with a Pasteurizer's License.

Shifts (one of):

• Swing shift 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday-Friday
• Grave shift 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Sunday-Thursday

Candidates must be flexible for overtime if needed.

• Ability to follow recipes, measurements, and instructions accurately
• Perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Physical stamina to stand/walk almost the entire workday and lift/move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
• Previous experience with pallet jacks and forklift
• Attention to detail; good written and verbal communication; team-oriented; adaptable to a fast-paced environment; safety-focused
