Position Overview

Follow work orders and SOPs, operate manufacturing machinery, inspect and package final products, and perform backup Lead Operator duties while adhering to Good Manufacturing/Documentation Practices.

Department

Dept 57 - Packaging

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures including PPE use.
• Apply lean 5S principles.
• Multitask effectively.
• Follow scrap escalation processes.
• Feed product into machinery as directed.
• Ensure products and materials are free from debris/contamination.
• Apply labels and replenish packaging supplies as needed.
• Clear jams and monitor product quality.
• Package products according to specifications, including weight and labeling.

Minimum Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Knowledge & Experience

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.

Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions in English.
• Good communication and detail orientation.
• Mechanical aptitude.
