A leading company is seeking production workers to enhance their natural gas line assembly team. Ideal candidates should possess basic measurement skills and have prior experience in manufacturing. Are you ready to help us make the future? We are looking for natural gas line production workers to join our growing team! Produce high quality products and services for our customers. The ideal candidates will assemble and inspect gas line to maintain the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your workstation to ensure the safe and efficient operation by setting up and monitoring the production of product in your area while participating in the continuous improvement process at the site to show safety, production and quality improvements.
**Production workers** in this role frequently stand up to 12 hours at a time, rotate to different workstations, and manipulate and assemble a variety of large and small parts with their hands. They also regularly lift/carry up to 35 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stoop and kneel, and occasionally reach over shoulder/head height.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Operate assigned equipment, maintain work area for operation and cleanliness, follow all safety rules
+ Read and decipher schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions
+ Assemble natural gas line components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies
+ Record and report production data
+ Use a tape measure to ensure natural gas line components are to specification
**YOU MUST HAVE**
+ Ability to read and write in English
+ Understanding of how to read assembly drawing
+ Basic measurement skills (tape measure and digital caliper)
+ Ability to work: Monday - Friday 3:00 pm - 11 pm (2nd Shift) or Sunday - Thursday 11:00 pm - 7:00 am (3rd Shift)
