Join Our Team as a Production Worker - Forklift Operator at Champion Homes

Champion Home Builders is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our team in Weiser, Idaho. We are a leader in the manufactured housing industry, offering a variety of factory-built solutions across the United States and western Canada.

Job Overview:

This role involves loading, unloading, and moving materials within our plant, yard, or work site to support our production processes.

Responsibilities:

• Read work orders or follow oral instructions to determine materials to be moved.
• Open containers and manually load/unload materials onto/from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
• Load materials into vehicles, securing them to prevent shifting or damage.
• Transport materials to designated areas to assist in meeting production deadlines.
• Secure loads for transport and operate or signal crane/hoisting operators.
• Record the number of units moved or handled daily.
• Label and identify materials appropriately.
• Load trucks as an Industrial Truck Operator.
• Assemble and bundle materials as needed.
• Lift heavy objects manually or with power hoists.

Qualifications & Competencies:

• Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and safety awareness.
• Ability to work efficiently and as part of a team.
• Ability to live the Champion Operating Principles.
