Job summary

Champion Home Builders, Inc. in Leesville, LA is seeking a Drywall Finisher to join our manufacturing team on the production line. You will apply drywall mud to first and second coats and participate in tape and texture work with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.

Ideal candidates will have basic experience in manufacturing or modular housing and a strong work ethic. The role emphasizes teamwork, punctuality, and adherence to safety procedures while supporting a fast-paced production

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired.

Responsibilities

• Apply mud on 1st and 2nd coats with a high degree of quality.
• Tape and texture duties as needed.
• Perform all manual labor in the area to which assigned.
• Keep area neat and clean.
• Work well with others as a team and take direction to accomplish goals.
• Maintain safety and quality; meet a demanding work schedule.
• Read blueprints and orders; communicate well with coworkers.

Summary

Under General supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team and perform quality work in a fast-moving and consistent manner. Specifically applying Drywall Finishing skills to the interior of the homes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
