Champion Home Builder, Inc in Burleson, Texas is seeking a Drywall Production Worker to join our production team. Under general supervision, you will work on the production line to assemble manufactured housing and apply drywall finishing to interior surfaces.

You will be part of a fast-paced team, maintain quality, follow safety procedures, and read blueprints as needed. This role is full-time and on-site at our Burleson plant.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired.

Responsibilities

Summary Under General supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team and perform quality work in a fast-moving and consistent manner. Specifically applying Drywall Finishing skills to the interior of the homes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Able to apply mud on 1st and 2nd coats with a high degree of quality.
• Flexibility and willingness to perform other duties in addition to tape and texture.
• Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned.
• Keeps area neat and clean.
• Must work well with others as a team and be able to take direction to accomplish goals.
• Highly productive & motivated with a sense of urgency to meet a demanding work schedule.
• Punctual with good attendance.
• Must pay particular attention to safety and quality.
• Read blueprints and orders
• Communicate well with coworkers
