Job summary

Champion Home Builders, Inc in Burleson, Texas is seeking a Drywall Production Worker to join our plant team. You will work on the production line to build manufactured housing and specifically apply drywall finishing to interiors, collaborating with teammates in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Apply mud on 1st and 2nd coats with a high degree of quality.
• Tape and texture duties as assigned and assist with other tasks.
• Perform all manual labor in the area to which assigned.
• Keep work area neat and clean.
• Must work well with others as a team and take direction to achieve goals.
• Be highly productive with a sense of urgency to meet a demanding schedule.
• Maintain punctuality and good attendance.
• Prioritize safety and quality in every task.
• Read blueprints and orders; communicate effectively with coworkers.

Summary Under General supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team and perform quality work in a fast-moving and consistent manner. Specifically applying Drywall Finishing skills to the interior of the homes.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired.
