Job summary

Rinker Materials seeks a General Laborer for the Bonner Springs, KS plant to mix and pour concrete and help move forms and materials. You will operate concrete mixers and conveyors, load/unload materials, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Must read orders, use hand and power tools, and work outdoors. Forklift experience is preferred. The role offers medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid vacation and holidays, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
• Familiar with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work outdoors or in open air environment.
• Preferred – experience in manufacturing environment.
• Preferred – forklift operation experience, especially industrial forklift.
• Must be able to lift/move objects up to 50 pounds frequently; for over 50 pounds use a forklift or crane.

We are looking for a GENERAL LABORER to join our BONNER SPRINGS, KS plant. As a general laborer with Rinker Materials, you will contribute to one of the nation's largest manufacturers of reinforced concrete pipe, box, bridge, and other related infrastructure products for stormwater and sanitary applications.

About the Role:

• Any other miscellaneous tasks assigned by management at any given time and in any given area

About You

We Require:

• Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.


• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.


• Ability to work outdoors or in open air environment.


• Preferred – Experience working in a manufacturing environment.


• Preferred – Experience operating a forklift, especially an industrial forklift.


• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently. Over 50 pounds, a forklift or crane will be used. Must be able to push or pull cart with 80 pounds of force. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders. Must be able to step up 20 inches.
