Job summary

Rinker Materials in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Production Worker to join our plant. You will perform general labor supporting concrete production, operate basic equipment, and help maintain safe, efficient operations.

You should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, read work orders, use hand and power tools, and work outdoors. Experience in manufacturing and forklift operation is a plus. Join us to contribute to infrastructure projects and grow with a nationwide leader.

Responsibilities

• Mixing and pouring concrete.
• Operating machinery and equipment, such as concrete mixers and conveyors.
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas.
• Assisting with transportation and placement of concrete forms and molds.
• Loading and unloading materials and supplies.
• Setting up forms in the production process.
• Handling and moving heavy construction materials.
• Following safety protocols and wearing protective gear.
• Adhering to quality control standards to ensure product quality.
• Performing other tasks as assigned by management.

We are looking for a PRODUCTION WORKER to join our SACRAMENTO, CA plant. As a general laborer with Rinker Materials, you will contribute to one of the nation's largest manufacturers of reinforced concrete pipe, box, bridge, and other related infrastructure products for stormwater and sanitary applications.

About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Mixing and pouring concrete.
• Operating machinery and equipment, such as concrete mixers and conveyors.
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas.
• Assisting with the transportation and placement of concrete forms and molds.
• Loading and unloading materials and supplies.
• Sets up forms in the manufacturing production process of concrete products.
• Handling and moving heavy construction materials.
• Following safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear.
• Adhering to quality control standards to ensure the production of high-quality concrete products.
• Any other miscellaneous tasks assigned by management at any given time and in any given area

About You

We Require:

• Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work outdoors or in open air environment.
• Preferred – Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred – Experience operating a forklift, especially an industrial forklift.
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently. Over 50 pounds, a forklift or crane will be used. Must be able to push or pull cart with 80 pounds of force. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders. Must be able to step up 20 inches.
