Job summary

OSI Group is seeking an entry-level general laborer to support manufacturing operations in a safe, compliant environment. The role involves loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials under close supervision.

You will participate in setup, verify equipment, inspect products, and assist with troubleshooting while maintaining clean work areas and following GMP and lockout/tag-out procedures. Prior experience is not required, but basic English and MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in related field is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work at machine speed.
• Ability to understand written English preferred.
• Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.

Responsibilities

• Employee is an individual contributor with no direct reports.

Work Environment

• Work can be performed within a manufacturing plant environment with noise, extreme temperatures, and significant movement of powered equipment, people and conveyor (may depend on the role).
• Work conditions are typical of a food manufacturing facility.
• This role does not require any domestic travel
• Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 50 pounds
• Position may require frequent and/or infrequent of bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring.
• Position may require the physical ability to stand/walk for Greater than 4 hours.

Compensation / Benefits

We are committed to fair and transparent pay practices. The hourly pay range for this position is $19.00 to $20.50 per hour. The final hourly rate offered will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, and market considerations.
