Position Summary

The Production Worker is responsible for performing a variety of tasks within the manufacturing process. This includes operating machinery, assembling products, monitoring production quality, and ensuring that production goals are met efficiently, safely, and with quality. The Production Worker will work as part of a team to ensure the timely production of goods while adhering to all safety standards and company policies.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the production area to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform regular quality pre- and post-equipment checks.
• Report production progress and any issues to supervisors or managers.
• Work closely with team members to achieve production targets and deadlines.
• Assist with setup, breakdown, and changeovers during casting.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards before packaging or shipping.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot production issues preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

This role requires the ability to stand, kneel, crawl, climb, and bend for extended periods. It will primarily involve work on the plant production floor and require the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. The role may expose workers to temperature fluctuations.

Expected Salary Range

The salary range offered is a good-faith estimate and may vary based on experience, location, and other factors. Eastern Alloys, Inc. reserves the right to pay more or less than the stated range.

Compensation details: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour
