Job summary

QPS Employment Group in Quincy, IL is seeking a Production Worker/ Machine Operator on 1st shift. The position pays $20.03 per hour and offers the opportunity for hire after a successful probation period.

You will operate manufacturing equipment, load and unload materials, monitor machine performance for defects, perform minor adjustments, and maintain housekeeping and safety inspections in a hot, loud manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk for 8–12 hours per shift.
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and repetitive movements.
• Ability to grip, push, pull, and manipulate materials throughout the shift.
• Ability to consistently lift 50–100 pounds depending on position and department.
• Forklift Operators must be able to manually roll and position wheels exceeding 100 pounds.
• Work in hot, loud, and physically demanding environments.
