Job summary

Sonoco is seeking a production worker in Tiffin, OH to operate in the tube and core division, performing tasks quickly, safely, and with attention to detail. You will join a team that values reliability, problem solving, and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will work with multiple departments, assist with setup and training on other lines, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement while adhering to safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift Certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with other departments and teams.
• Troubleshoot problems and make quick decisions.
• Make incremental process adjustments, monitor and report quality of manufactured product.
• Learn to set up new jobs, train on other lines and departments.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Perform duties in support of Sonoco’s quality and safety policies.
• Downtime is cleaning and straightening time.
