Job summary

Elite Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Production Worker to perform a variety of production tasks, assist the Production Operator, and help ensure product quality in a busy facility in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

Shifts are 1st 4:45 AM–1:00 PM, 2nd 12:45 PM–9:00 PM, and 3rd 8:45 PM–5:00 AM. Pay is $16.50/hr on 1st shift, $17.25/hr on 2nd, and $18.00/hr on 3rd. Elite Staffing is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Work in a noisy environment for the length of shift.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Willing to acquire a wide variety of skills to assist the surrounding team and fully understand the processes.
• Able to problem solve, learn on the fly, and make process and technical learning and quality decisions.
• Must be able to work in a team environment as well as work independently.

Responsibilities

• Complete various production tasks as assigned by Production Operator.
• Clear pan jams from line, remove and add baking pans as needed.
• Troubleshoot basic causes of line stops and restart production.
• Assist the production operator in line startups and changeovers.
• Oversee product quality and ensure product is produced in compliance with customer specifications.
• Maintain high rates of production as set by the Operator and Production Supervisor.
• Separate rework from raw dough waste whenever possible to minimize waste.
• Monitor and deliver side trimmings to mixer; notify operator when side trimmings exceed acceptable rates.
