Multiple Shifts : Shift 1 / Shift 2 / Shift 3 are available

Job Description :

The successful candidate will be part of a manufacturing assembly team involved with microelectronic components. Duties include manual assembly tasks, soldering, operating semi-automated and automated processing equipment, using ovens and microscopes for assembly and inspection, following detailed written work instructions via a computer, creating nonconformances in our Factory Operating System (FOS), and performing rework. The individual will have annual training requirements covering safety, hazardous materials, quality systems, and other relevant topics.

Responsibilities :

• Perform manual assembly tasks, including soldering and operating processing equipment.
• Utilize ovens and microscopes for assembly and inspection.
• Follow detailed written work instructions accessed via a computer.
• Create nonconformances in FOS and execute rework as necessary.
• Participate in annual training related to safety, hazardous materials, and quality systems.

Required Skills :

• Proficiency in hand/finger dexterity with strong attention to detail.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing tasks.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks according to established processes and conduct in-process inspections per standards.

Desired Skills :

• Experience in microelectronics manufacturing, especially in aerospace or defense sectors.
• Soldering experience to Military and/or ANSI/J standards is highly desirable.
• Previous microelectronic assembly experience.
• A strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Proven drive for continuous improvement and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Education :

High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or equivalent 2-year post-high school training) with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
