Production Worker - Compressed

Location: McKinney, TX

Pay Range: $20-24 ph (W2)

Duration: 12 months

Seeking Production Workers to join our microelectronics manufacturing team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the precision assembly of electronic components in a cleanroom environment. Success requires hand/finger dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to follow written instructions.

Training Schedule

All contractors will start on 1st shift for training regardless of assigned shift.

Classroom Training (approximately 2 business days to 1 week): onboarding, safety, timekeeping, system access.

On-the-Job Training (OTJ): conducted during daytime hours prior to shift transition, timing varies by trainee.

Key Responsibilities

• Manual assembly, including soldering and handling microelectronic components
• Use of microscopes, ovens, and semi-automated equipment
• Follow detailed work instructions via the Factory Operating System (FOS)
• Log nonconformance issues and perform rework as needed
• Complete annual training in safety, hazardous materials, and quality systems

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship
• High School Diploma or equivalent; AA/AS or technical training a plus
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience in electronics or manufacturing
• Ability to read engineering drawings and follow procedures
• Proficiency in basic math and computer skills
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities

Desired Skills

• Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing soldering to military or ANSI/J standards
• Familiarity with microelectronic assembly and inspection
• Focus on quality and teamwork
• Self-motivated with a mindset for continuous improvement
