Job summary

Staffmark Group in Harahan, LA seeks a Production Worker to support manufacturing operations. You will sort, inspect, and handle materials, assist with line startup/shutdown, and maintain clean, safe work areas while following GMP and safety rules.

The role offers pay at $16.00 per hour, a Monday–Friday schedule, with overtime and weekend availability as needed, and opportunities to train and grow within a team focused on keeping production moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Sort, inspect, and stack empty crates, shells, trays, and returnable bottles.
• Remove shrink wrap from shell pallets and place materials into recycling bales.
• Supply shells to production lines to maintain continuous operations.
• Remove empty shells from production areas and transport them to staging locations.
• Perform repetitive lifting and handling of materials up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, conveyor systems, and storage zones.
• Monitor shell flow and report shortages or line issues to supervisors.
• Assist with production line startup and shutdown activities.
• Follow all safety, quality, sanitation, and GMP requirements.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
• Sweep floors, remove debris, and clean work areas throughout the shift.
• Support additional production and warehouse duties as assigned.

• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks in a fast-paced setting
