American Phoenix Inc. (API) is a leading rubber mixing facility in Eau Claire, WI, offering hands-on production roles. Starting pay is $20.00/hr with a $1.50/hr shift premium for evening shifts, and hours are 7am–3pm or 3pm–11pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Mix chemicals by hand or automation using customer recipes.
• Load raw materials onto the weigh-up belt.
• Read and follow the recipe for materials to weigh up.
• Ensure correct materials are used for each batch.
• Daily cleaning of the work area.
• Identify leftover raw materials properly.
• Perform basic wig wag operator duties.
• Operate wig wag to weigh and stack rubber.
• Mark and package product according to specs.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

American Phoenix Inc. (API) is an experienced custom rubber mixer, founded in 1992 with the purchase from Michelin of its mixing equipment situated in the former Uniroyal Tire plant, located in Eau Claire Wisconsin. Now operating one of the largest single location custom rubber mixing facilities in America, we are a major supplier of rubber compounds, meeting exact customer specifications for premier manufactures in multiple industries.

Basic Job Duties

• Using customer recipe, mix chemicals by hand or automation
• Physically load raw material on the weigh up belt
• Read and follow recipe for material to weigh up
• Ensure correct materials are being used
• Daily cleaning of work area
• Properly identify all left over raw materials
• Basic wig wag operator duties
• Operate a wig wag machine to weigh and stack rubber
• Mark and package product according to customer specs
