Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Production Associate for a manufacturing client in Cookeville, TN. The role supports production lines by positioning parts, inspecting assemblies, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with a 19-day straight-work readiness and potential for a temp-to-perm path.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Basic ability to read blueprints.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctions.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 25lbs.
• Willingness to work up to 19 days straight.

Responsibilities

• Position parts, materials, and sub-assemblies for assembly.
• Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Set up, operate, or tend more than one type of cutting or forming machine tool or robot.
• Inspect workpieces for defects and measure them to determine accuracy of machine operation.

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience, strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

All candidates must be able to be assigned to work any shift and work 19 days straight.

Job Title: Production Associate

Location: Cookeville, TN

Pay Range: $16p/h

Shift: 1st 7am - 3pm, 2nd 3pm - 11pm, 3rd 11pm - 7am
