Pay Rate - $19.41/hour + $2.00/hour shift differential for night shift

*New employees are eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus*

Royal Building Products, a vinyl siding manufacturer, has a full-time opening for a Production Worker. This position is responsible for handling, packaging and stocking raw materials, banding, box making and transporting finished goods.

Candidates must be able to work a rotating 12 hour shift; 7:00am-7:00pm or 7:00pm-7:00am.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble boxes for packing
• Pack products according to company standards
• Fold and glue boxes for shipping
• Attach labels to boxes and use hand-held scanner for inventory
• Assist machine operators on extrusion line startups, shut-downs, profile and color changes
• Remove scrap material during jam-ups and start-ups
• Ability to monitor quality and identify defects
• Maintain good housekeeping
• Maintain safety standards as posted in work areas
• Report any malfunctions or breakdowns of equipment
• Performs additional duties as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to hold, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must lift, carry and/or move up to 100 lbs. frequently. In addition, mobility to cover 2 facilities (North & South Plant) is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position works in a fast paced manufacturing facility. Noise level commensurate with large machinery. Ear and eye protection must be worn at all times and steel toed shoes and long pants are required. Temperatures, although maintained, can be effected
