Job summary

The Arc Jefferson – St. Lawrence in Watertown, NY, is seeking a production/assembly worker to perform assigned tasks, maintain quality standards, and work with teammates to maximize productivity.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, manufacturing experience preferred, and the ability to lift 30 lbs. 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, day shift; safety and team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare components. Build, package and assemble products as required for shipment; safely operate production equipment.
• Review products for quality control; complete rework if necessary.
• Move materials between locations to ensure continuous production.
• Report any production problems to Production Supervisor or Production Coordinator.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following procedures, rules and regulations.
• Attend and satisfactorily complete all required in-services.
• Adhere to all agency policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work – 40 hours per week; Monday – Friday, day shift depending on the needs of the program.

Summary/Objective - Perform assigned production/assembly tasks as assigned by Production Coordinator or Production Supervisor. Maintain quality standards of products produced. Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Essential Functions –

Work Environment - This job operates in a manufacturing/warehouse setting. Various machines and equipment are used to create a finished product. Noise level can be loud.
