Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller is seeking a manufacturing operator to support light, medium, and heavy equipment operations at our Minnesota facility. The role requires forklift experience, basic MIG/TIG welding, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, operating hand tools for steel fabrication, maintaining a clean workstation, and adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• Prior forklift experience is a plus.
• Beginning level MIG/TIG welding experience.
• Team oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Ability to obtain and operate mobile equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate light, medium and heavy equipment including forklift.
• Operate hand tools related to steel fabrication.
• Learn welding procedures and use welding equipment.
• Set up equipment including jigs and loading of raw material.
• Maintain workstation cleanliness for daily production.
• Maintain regular, timely attendance.
• Perform special projects as directed.
• Follow established safety procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
