Job summary

Copper State Bolt & Nut Co. seeks a Production Welder to join our Phoenix manufacturing team. This hands-on role performs MIG, flux-core, or stick welding, reads basic drawings, and produces consistent welds to required specs.

The ideal candidate will read instructions, use measuring tools, and follow safety rules in a busy production environment at our facility in Phoenix, AZ. Competitive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Previous welding/fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions, drawings, measurements, and welding symbols.
• Basic math and measurement skills using tape measures, calipers, squares, and gauges.
• Knowledge of welding safety practices and proper use of PPE.
• Reliable attendance and ability to meet production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using approved processes, equipment, and procedures.
• Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Set up and operate welding machines and related tools.
• Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, grinding, and fitting parts.
• Produce quality welds and inspect finished parts for conformity.
