Phoenix Manufacturing in Glasgow, Missouri is seeking a Welder to join our Glasgow fabrication team. You will use flame-cutting and welding to join metal components, read fabrication drawings, and produce completed parts.

The role requires attention to detail, basic math, and the ability to work in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year welding experience.
• 1 year fitting experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform layout.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Willing to pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical.
• Complies with all safety policies and uses PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Use measuring devices to assist layout and fit of steel to be welded.
• Align and fit parts according to drawing specifications.
• Weld pieces together in flat, vertical or overhead positions according to the print.
• Grind burrs and sharp edges using hand grinders.
• Inspect completed work for defects and quality.
• Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and wear PPE.
