Job summary

Lavoro USA is seeking an Assembly and Welding Technician for a Northeast Iowa facility that builds large steel trailers. Read blueprints, assemble and fabricate metal structures, and ensure parts meet tolerances.

You will operate MIG welders, grinders, torches, and cranes, lift heavy components, and maintain a safe, clean work area. Overtime including Saturdays is required; benefits include 401(k), health and dental insurance, paid time off, and vision.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints prior to starting a project.
• Assemble and fabricate large metal structures using equipment such as MIG welders, grinders, torches, arc cutting and measuring tools.
• Check finished work to ensure it falls within blueprint tolerances.
• Lift and carry heavy items by operating an overhead crane.
• Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment.
• Ability to work overtime including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment.
• Ability to work overtime as required including Saturdays.
