New Flyer is seeking a welder for second shift to operate welding machines in a heavy manufacturing environment. You will read blueprints, interpret weld symbols, and work with MIG welding to meet quality targets.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of all types of welding procedures and practices.

2nd Shift Monday through Thursday 4:00pm to 2:30am

Must be able to train on days for up to 90 days

Monday through Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm

POSITION SUMMARY: As a member of the welding team, this position will be responsible to operate welding machines and work with a variety of weld fixtures while adhering to the CWB welding procedures.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to weld using various material and techniques (specifically MIG).
• Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and/or process sheets.
• Ability to interpret weld symbols.
• Complete tasks while ensuring performance targets and quality are met.

Per Union Contract: $28.57
