Job summary

Wenthe-Davidson Engineering Co. in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled welder with MIG and TIG experience to join our 109,000 sq ft facility.

The ideal candidate will have H.S. diploma, familiarity with GMAW, GTAW, LBW, and is able to lift up to 50 pounds and work from 5:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on first shift. We offer opportunities in a 100% employee-owned company committed to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Education – H.S. Diploma or GED. Technical Diploma or Certificate in Welding preferred, but not required.
• Must have familiarity with GMAW (Mig), GTAW (Tig), and/or LBW (Laser Beam).
• Requires technical training in welding and/or less than 1 year of experience.
• Quality Assurance: The ability to perform visual inspection of welds and surface condition to ensure quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Fit, align and weld or tack weld metal parts together following work instructions and established procedures.
• Use jigs and holding fixtures where available to location and position pieces and materials.
• Efficiently produce quality welds.
• Perform or assist with post weld cleanup, inspection and repair.
• Other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

The ideal candidate will have solid MIG welding experience and enjoy working independently. First shift hours are Monday through Friday, 5:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
