Job summary

Ventura Foods is seeking a production variances analyst to research and resolve daily variances and maintain accurate production reporting. This onsite role monitors the production floor to ensure inventory transactions are performed accurately and timely.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in manufacturing, strong Excel and JDE skills, and be detail oriented with excellent communication abilities. This hourly, second-shift position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills; JDE experience preferred.
• Detail oriented with solid communication and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collect and reconcile batch sheets and resolve issues with production group leaders.
• Generate active LP in production report and resolve inventory without put away location.
• Troubleshoot JDE status 88 work orders and provide variance details to Inventory Control Supervisor.
• Assist with cycle counts, PRD counts and line counts.
• Reconcile status 90 work orders and report to accounting.
• Adhere to SQF, GMPs, FSMA and preventive controls.
• Travel may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.
