Job summary

Ventura Foods is seeking a Cost Accounting Analyst to partner with plant operations, develop cost estimates for new and existing products, and support monthly and annual cost processes.

You will work across plants to ensure accurate overhead rates, assist with JDE/Oracle data, and participate in budgeting while maintaining high data integrity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration with primary focus in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years cost accounting experience.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost estimates for manufactured products and support multiple plants.
• Complete component setup including overhead calculation and pre-production worksheets.
• Participate in annual budget process and adjust overhead cost drivers across plants.
• Support various cost accounting projects and analyses as assigned by management.
• Update finished goods standard costs quarterly and branch transfer rates monthly.
