Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift in a fast-paced environment with varying temps.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
• Operate machinery used in production process or assist machine operators.
• Place products in equipment or on surfaces for processing, inspecting and wrapping.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Start machines or equipment to begin production processes.
• Observe equipment for malfunctions and notify supervisor or maintenance.
• Remove products or waste from machines.
• Lift raw materials, finished products and packed items manually.
• Transfer finished product and materials between storage and work areas by hand or forklift.
• Pack and store materials and products; mark and tag products.
• Dump materials into hoppers prior to mixing; mix ingredients as specified.
• May perform other duties at different levels or not related to this classification; follow FSMS duties.
