Darling Ingredients is seeking a Production Associate to support production and ensure timely shipping in a fast-paced plant environment. The role involves operating machinery, loading/unloading materials, and maintaining clean equipment while adhering to safety standards.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to stand for long periods, walk, bend, and work in varying temperatures. Manufacturing experience is preferred and the company offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and crawl in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and possible slippery surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
• Operate machinery used in production or assist machine operators.
• Place products in equipment or on surfaces for processing and inspection.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Start machines or equipment to begin production processes.
• Move finished product and materials between storage and work areas by hand or forklift.
• Mark and tag products.
• Mix ingredients according to procedures or formulas.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
• Implement FSMS responsibilities as required.
