Darling Ingredients in Michigan is seeking a Production Worker to support daily manufacturing operations and meet shipping deadlines. You will help operate and monitor production machinery and ensure cleanliness of the plant and equipment.

The role requires the ability to stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment, with varying temperatures. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, and safety compliance is essential to maintain quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, crawl and push/pull in a fast-paced work environment.
• Experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors and conveyances.
• Operate machinery used in production or assist machine operators.
• Move products between storage and work areas by hand or forklift.
• Inspect products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Start machines and monitor operations to detect malfunctions.
• Pack and store materials and products.
• Follow FSMS requirements and safety procedures.
