Job summary

Simmons is seeking a Utility C2 SS for the A Shift to perform varied line duties in a production environment. The role supports the supervisor, entering multiple job types such as breakdown of boxes, inspection of product, sanitation, and moving raw meat into freezers.

This is an on-site, full-time position. Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma or GED, with preference for those familiar with the Food Processing Industry and a military background.

Responsibilities

• Performs various jobs on the line as assigned or required to assist the supervisor or lead.
• Assists in training of new employees on basic dress requirements, safety aspects, job assignment and sanitation procedures and policies.
• Participates as a member of the Team to support business objectives and maintain team cohesiveness.
• Follows Simmons operating systems principles and objectives and communicates concerns and improvement ideas.
