Job summary

Simmons is seeking a reliable Utility Class 2 worker for the D-Shift to support production on the line. You will perform varied tasks such as breaking down boxes, inspecting product, sanitation duties, and assisting the supervisor as needed.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety, PPE use, and BESt practices. Minimum education is reading, writing and basic math; preferred is a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Read, write and perform basic math.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Break down large boxes and inspect product.
• Perform sanitation duties and assist in maintaining hygiene on the line.
• Rake raw meat into freezers and support the supervisor as needed.
• Support teamwork and participate in continuous improvement and safety practices.
