Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Plant Manager for our Neenah, WI site to direct and execute the strategic plan across manufacturing operations. You will manage 80+ personnel and communicate production metrics to sustain schedules and service levels.

The role requires deep analytical and data management skills, effective English communication, and strong leadership to drive continuous improvement and safety policies.

Responsibilities

  • Best practices implemented through Lean Enterprise; 5S, TPM, SWI, PDCA, etc.
  • Ensure manufacturing capabilities meet or exceed cost, quality and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service/Sales for production scheduling and WIP reporting.
  • Utilize ERP systems (LN, SAP, etc.) to manage operations.
  • Define objectives and develop short and long-term plans with budgets.

As Plant Manager of our Neenah, WI location you will be responsible for directing, planning, and execution of the company's strategic plan relating to all manufacturing operations. Managing internal projects and communicating production metrics and service impacts to maintain schedules. Experience managing 80+ personnel working in multiple trade areas. The candidate we are looking for must be individually motivated and results driven, problem solving, and deep analytical and data management skills will contribute to the success of the operation.

Responsibilities
  • Best practices implemented through Lean Enterprise; 5S, TPM, SWI, PDCA, etc.
  • Ensure that, as the company grows, manufacturing capabilities meet or exceed all industry and customer requirements for cost, quality and responsiveness
  • Working with Customer Service/Sales in production scheduling, estimating, work in process reporting and other manufacturing issues to meet customers’ expectations.
  • Experience in ERP systems (LN, SAP, etc.)
  • Defines and recommends objectives in each area of operations. Develops specific short and long-term plans and programs, together with supporting budget requests and financial estimates
Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree from a college or university in a related field; oran Associate Degree from a two-year college; or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience. Effective written and oral communication skills in English along with presentation, negotiation and analytical skills.
