Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc is seeking a Production Specialist to ensure smooth operation of production test equipment, run manual and automatic tests, and perform quality checks to meet delivery goals on the factory floor.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, experience with manual production equipment, strict safety compliance, and the ability to troubleshoot on the line. Hours are Monday to Friday, onsite, with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in production/manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual production test equipment per specs.
• Record logs: material usage, output, downtime, quality data.
• Monitor processes for safety, organization, and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot on the line to minimize downtime.
• Perform quality inspections across production stages.
• Follow safety, regulatory, and company standards.
• Assist process improvements with supervisors to boost productivity.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
