Job Description

At Rockwell Automation, you will be joining an incredible team of talented individuals striving for excellence. We have an opening in Twinsburg, Ohio, for a Production Test Technician position. This role involves setting up, calibrating, testing, and troubleshooting circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. You may assist in selecting and setting up specialized test equipment. Candidates must be able to lift 35 lbs and stand for extended periods. This position is based in a plant setting with a clean and controlled climate.

Shift Details: 3rd Shift, Full-time: 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM, Sun-Thurs, with a 10% shift premium.

Responsibilities may include:

  1. Performing a variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
  2. Determining and developing test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
  3. Testing and troubleshooting assemblies and final systems.
  4. Completing rework on assemblies and systems as needed based on testing results.
  5. Preparing technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
  6. Assisting in the selection and setup of specialized test equipment.
  7. Assembling, packing, and transferring products.
  8. Following blueprints, bill of materials, and instructions to complete product specifications.
  9. Identifying and correcting quality errors and issues.
  10. Performing other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements
  • Legal authorization to work in the US; we do not sponsor visas now or in the future for this position.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 18 years of age.
Desired Qualifications
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Basic reading and writing skills.
