Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Production Test Technician (Level 2 or 3) in Ridgecrest, CA. You will set up, execute, and document electro-mechanical tests per detailed procedures to support ARRGM program.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 2–4+ years of related experience, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Expect adherence to safety protocols and potential overtime.

This role is essential to supporting the testing and evaluation of electro-mechanical systems critical to national defense supporting our ARRGM Program.In this hands-on position, you’ll be responsible for setting up, executing, and documenting tests in accordance with detailed procedures and customer requirements. This role demands a strong commitment to quality, adherence to ESD and FOD protocols, and the ability to meet production goals in a high-paced manufacturing environment.

• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiarity with Maintenance Data Collection systems (MES, FMT, CAMS, etc.)
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Ability to obtain Active DoD Secret clearance

Basic Qualifications Production Test Technician 3:

• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiarity with Maintenance Data Collection systems (MES, FMT, CAMS, etc.)
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Ability to obtain Active DoD Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the aerospace or defense industry
• Understanding of environmental chamber operations
• Familiarity with quality systems TipQA and industry standards
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams
• Proficiency in one or more of the following:
  • Electrical test set-up and performance
  • Preventive maintenance and calibration
  • Test equipment troubleshooting and repair
  • Anechoic and thermal chamber operations
  • Use of test instruments (power supplies, oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, etc.)
  • Data logging and reporting using Excel

Primary Level Salary Range:

$50,000.00 - $83,300.00

Secondary Level Salary Range:

$59,300.00 - $98,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
