Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems is seeking a Production Test Technician – Level 1 to join our team in San Diego, CA for 2nd Shift. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.

You will perform day-to-day work in the Filter Test Lab and follow a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off. Qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

• Experience with avionics or electronics preferred.

Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• US Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance.
• Experience working with avionics or electronics.
• Advanced education in avionics or electronics.
• Developmental or operational test experience.
• Experience with ESD (electrostatic discharge) and FOD (foreign object damage) control.
• Experience with MS Office products.
• Experience with FAR, ITAR, AS9100, and/or ISO 90001 rules and regulations.
• Experience with filter tuning
• Experience with RF Theory

Primary Level Salary Range: $43,400.00 - $72,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
