Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Dallas, TX seeks an experienced Production Test Pilot to join the Flight Operations team. Under the Chief Production Test Pilot, you will conduct flight tests and evaluate production aircraft to ensure adherence to design and performance specs.

Applicants should hold GVII and/or G280 ratings, a CFI, and an FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate; 7 years of flight experience is required. The role includes training customer crews on new products and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 7 years flight experience required.
• Previous Gulfstream experience desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial flight tests of Gulfstream aircraft and perform acceptance testing of production aircraft to verify airframe, engines and avionics meet FAA standards.
• Represent Gulfstream on FAA Certificate of Airworthiness flight checks.
• Conduct test flights of customer aircraft after outfitting or modifications and post-service center maintenance.
• Evaluate used aircraft for airworthiness and compliance with production standards.
• Provide customer pilot training flights as required and train flight crews on new products and systems.
