Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Production Test Pilot to conduct flight test evaluations of production aircraft, engines, and avionics to ensure compliance with FAA standards.

Under the direction of the Chief/ Senior Production Test Pilot, duties include flight testing, FAA checks, and providing training to crews on new aircraft products and systems. A Bachelor's in Engineering plus 7 years' flight experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or technically related field required or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the job.
• 7 years flight experience.
• Previous experience with Gulfstream aircraft desired but not required.
• Position Purpose: Conduct flight test evaluations to assure compliance with design and performance specifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct flight test evaluations of production aircraft, engines, avionics systems, and other related systems to assure conformity with design and performance specifications.
• Represent Gulfstream on FAA Certificate of Airworthiness flight checks.
• Conduct test flights of customer aircraft following outfitting, modifications, and maintenance.
• Provide ground and flight instruction to company and customer flight crews on new products and systems.
