The Production Technology Additive Engineering Intern will analyze 3D printed metal samples using a variety of tools, equipment and techniques. The role will focus on measuring using laboratory equipment to perform and record; tensile pull tests, surface roughness, part density, and part dimensions. In addition, preparing the machine for operation, processing jobs that have been printed, and performing light troubleshooting on the machine. The ideal candidate will have experience in a laboratory setting collecting data, have a basic understanding of engineering principles, experience with CAD, experience operating machinery, have good attention to detail and have experience with Microsoft office.
