Job summary

Simmons Foods is seeking applicants for a Further Prod Tech SP2 (NS) position in the Siloam Springs area. The role involves rotating between packer, scaler, styler and grader tasks to maintain line speeds on designated products.

Ideal candidates are prepared for a fast-paced poultry processing environment with physical demands including lifting up to 55 pounds and standing for long periods. In-person hiring is available at our center.

Qualifications

• Industry experience preferred in poultry or food processing.

Responsibilities

• Operates on a moving conveyor belt using both hands and handles product by hand on the belt.
• Performs multiple types of packing and weighing.
• Pulls bones from product; inspects, grades and removes product that does not meet standards.
• Participates as a member of the Team; supports team concepts, programs and policies and attends team meetings.
• Follows Simmons operating systems principles and objectives, including quality, security and LEAN.
• Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.
• Physical: move/pull up to 55 pounds; work in cold, wet, noisy and dusty environments; repetitive motion.
• PPE: waterproof gloves, sleeves, hearing protection, slip resistant footwear.
