Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a manufacturing operator to support press production and assembly in a lean environment, using equipment such as set up dies, automated lines and stamping presses.

You will start machines, monitor operations, record data, and ensure parts meet specifications. Inspect for defects, follow work orders and safety rules, and perform basic preventive maintenance as directed. Forklift operation and data entry into the MRP system may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and setting up metal stamping or press equipment.
• Ability to read work orders and production schedules.
• Follow safety procedures and perform basic preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set and adjust dies and machines to meet product specifications.
• Start machines, monitor operations, and record data.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and sort accordingly.
• Enter production data into the MRP system.
• Maintain clean work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Operate forklift to move materials.
