Qualifications

• Able to pass welding certification tests.
• Skilled at grinding and operating/maintaining machinery.
• Finish product using manual and power grinding tools.
• Perform routine maintenance on grinding equipment.
• Possess practical & technical knowledge for the job.
• Basic math ability and understanding of sheet metal principles.
• Previous experience with metal fabrication.
• Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand blueprints prior to starting a project.
• Source material to be used in the project.
• Measure and cut material to specifications.
• Weld materials to join metals.
• Assist in production of product and cycle counting.
• Work with conventional and precision measuring instruments.
• Perform process inspection, certification, and documentation.
• Perform material handling, receiving, and shipping duties.
• Maintain welding equipment through maintenance activities.
