Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment
• Adhere to Silgan safety policies and procedures to prevent injury
• Produce finished goods meeting customer specs and optimum cycle times
• Repair or provide information to maintenance to verify production parameters and measurements
• Provide shift notes with problems, corrective actions, and machine readings
• Maintain best cycle, blow, exhaust and dry cycle times for throughput of regrind material
• Assist with production change-overs for labels, sleeves, weights, color, resin and box on blow molding equipment
• Acquire skills to operate, troubleshoot, repair and maintain Silgan Plastics equipment
• Provide labor for mold cleanup, setup and minor preventative maintenance as directed by Supervisor
• Perform other duties as assigned
