Job summary

Baxter in Round Lake Beach, IL is seeking a Production Operator I to join our manufacturing team. The role covers downstream production activities, setup, labeling, sampling, and equipment verification to ensure batch integrity.

You must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate in English. Overtime is required as needed; you will work in a fast-paced environment with strict quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must not be allergic to Penicillin or Cephalosporin.
• Must not be colorblind.
• High School Diploma required, equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product exposure times and document process flow.
• Periodically perform Operator I/II functions.
• Pull required processing samples, document, package and distribute.
• Set-up/Tear down room and keep production area supplies up to date.
• Perform all line clearances.
• Replace labels on dispensers, take samples and troubleshoot label dispenser issues.
• Collect, document, disposition production scrap.
• Troubleshoot problems in the finishing area and determine corrective actions.
• Facility cleaning as required.
• Move production carts to +5 C and freezer areas as required by product specs.
• Maintain attendance per RLD Attendance Policy.
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.
• Move pasteurization carts and operate pasteurizer.
